Anodizing, or cold working, anodizes metals by coating them with an anti-rust, anti-tarnish, or anti-microbial coating. A layer of this coating is applied to an otherwise blank or inflated sphere to create the desired properties of anodized surface. This process produces a smoother, stronger, and much wear resistance ball than ordinary steel or aluminum balls.
